Abdullah Abdullah (1986)

Originally from East London. We moved to Tottenham when I first started at Somerset. I then moved to Edmonton, on the Great Cambridge Road and now I live in North Chingford.

I left the school in 1986, 1 year in lower sixth as I did not pass enough 'O' levels to get into college.

My memories at Somerset were good. I had lots of friends although I do not see any of them anymore. When I left I remember some of the guys saying they were going to move overseas.

My worse memory of Somerset was the days after the Broadwater Farm riots. The school lost control and did not know how to handle the kids.

My best memory was being able to tell Yarrow I was leaving and I was never going to see him again. But I hear he has passed on...God rest his soul....I liked him really.

I now work for CNN in London.
