David Charles (1979)

Played football and cricket for Hill House and rugby for Somerset (The coach asked me if I was from Wigan and if I wanted to play for the team - the answer was yes and represented myself and my home town respectably- got a bit of stick in the beginning from a few of the players which is understandable aaah.....the power of Wigan rugby! The annual Masters vs Pupils game comes to mind- my ribs still hurt when I think about it....had some good mates and had some good times at Lordship Lane and White Hart Lane- it's funny that you seem to remember the good times and the negative fades into a blur....that's the way it ought to be. I've still got my Somerset badge and tie and when I'm over every couple of years, I have a walk past both old sites.
I'm currently living in New York City and a graduate of Hunter College( Bachelor of Arts degree) - working the museum circuit and as healthy as can be expected.
