Lawrence Strong (1958)

I was at TGS from 1951-1958 and was school captain in 1956/57 and 1957/58. 
After University played the tennis circuit before marrying Vivienne Cox and going to Canada in 1962. Joined Unilever Canada and worked for them for 38 years, retiring in 2000 after serving as President from 1988. Canadian Davis Cup captain in 1970 and 1971. Member of Canada’s Tennis Hall of Fame. Appointed to Order of Canada in 2002. Three daughters and four grandchildren. Currently working as a consultant and corporate director.
