Neil Nagle (1988)

My name is Neil Robert Nagle, brother of Mark and son of Alfred. I attended Somerset School from 1983 to 1988 and my year was the last to attend. I did not particularly enjoy my time at the school and my fondest memory was attending a reunion party for former pupils held in the upper school before this was demolished.

One of the funniest moments during my time at Somerset was entering the physics lab for the first time and Mr Yarrow saying "Nagle Get Out!" before I even said anything to him.......

I have the distinction of being in the last year on Somerset School before it closed and if was a very weird place with only 30-50 pupils left. I never really enjoyed most lessons but have fond memories of cross country runs with Mr Tye & Mr Townshend pushing us all the way!
