Peter Slaney (1946)

I was a student at the Grammar School in White Hart Lane from 1942/3 until 1946ish, when I had to leave early due to moving to a different part of the country.

My Head was H.A.T.Simmonds and various teachers at that time were Mr. Mitchell (English), Mr. Frost (French), Miss Adams (?), Mr. Nelson (Maths/Music).

I was actually sitting in the lee of the NW corner when the V2 dropped and witnessed the aftermath including visiting Burns in hospital.
