. I went there just after the war in 1946 and left in 1951. I started in a C class and finished in one but was lucky enough to get 4 GCSE`s. After serving 2 years in the RAF I got married and moved to Kent and from there had 5 years in Canada. On my return I moved to Essex where I have stayed ever since. I went back to the old site in White Hart Lane about 3 years ago and was most surprised to see houses on the site.
