Roy Lawrance (1945)

I joined at White Hart Lane in September 1940 and left after Matric in 1945. I was in Bruce house and my only claim to fame was during the first three years in winning the lowest weight in the boxing competitions pressed on us every year by Jerry Hawtin.

You may like to know that when I appeared on a TV programme called Doodlebug Summer recently, I was also quizzed on the V2 incident at the school. During the original interview, I recalled my memories at length but only a small proportion of these were included in the programme.
