Tom Perry (1976)
Brings back many great memories!.
I left in 1976 and had taken part in several of the brilliant Richard Moss/Frank Wagland productions (Pied Piper, One Good Deed, Save St Pauls). One Good Deed – a musical about 5 lads trying to save an old folks home ran at The Intimate Theatre in Palmers Green (one performance was interrupted by a bomb scare!) and some of us – Me, Phil Stuhldreer, Jones Danes, Russell Almond (I’ve probably missed or mixed someone up there) – performed some of the songs in a Cabaret for an empressario at Astral Productions. We were paid in Swiss rolls and Tizer as I remember.
Could have been the first boy band? Don’t think so somehow.
Today I’m director of a technology firm in Docklands and in my spare time do extra work in films.
